KANO – CITY OF COMMERCE

KANO the Hausa state and city is the 2nd largest city in Nigeria, founded by a blacksmith named Kano who was searching for Iron on Dala Hill. Islam was introduced to Kano in the 1340s by Malinke scholars from the Mali Empire. I wondered if it would be different from the south west city Lagos. The major difference is in the culture, the architecture, of course the Language and dressing but it felt like Nigeria
